DUI and Your Job.

  • You probably haven't considered the negative impact that drinking and driving could have to your job.  If your job requires a drivers license, as most do, you could be jeopardizing your job if you are apprehended and convicted of a DUI offense. The employer is not required to make accommodations for you, and just as in a job bid, you must be qualified in all aspects of your job.  If that includes driving, you cannot afford to lose your license.  Think about this the next time you've been partying and think you should get behind the wheel.  Use a designated driver or call someone to come and get you.  It isn't an embarrassment to let someone else drive when you have been drinking.  It is stupid to drive after drinking and IT COULD COST YOU YOUR JOB!!

  • Other than your job, it could cost your life or even someone else's
