DON'T LET YOUR RIGHTS BE VIOLATED! REPORT VIOLATIONS TO YOUR BUSINESS AGENT OR THE APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES LISTED BELOW. 
 

  • You Have a Right to Minimum Wage and Overtime.

  • You Have a Right to a Safe Work Environment, Safety Training and Information.
    Contact the local office of  OSHA (Baltimore/Washington Area Local Department of  (Occupational Safety & Health Administration).410-865-2055.
  • You Have a Right to Worker's Compensation and Paid Medical Care if Injured on the job.
    If you believe your rights have been violated, contact the State of Maryland, Department of Labor at (410) 767-2236.
  • You May Have a Right to Disability Benefits if unable to work for up to one year due to illness or pregnancy.
    Contact the State of Maryland / Virginia Employment Development Department (EDD) in your area.
  • You May Have a Right to Unemployment Insurance Benefits if you lose your job.
