March on Washington

March on Washington:
October 2, 2010

Activists from around the country will rally to put America back to work.

Will you be one of them?

YES, I'LL TRY TO COME

NO, I CAN'T MAKE IT

Everyone knows we're facing a crisis in this country. Too many Americans can't find a job. And when they do find a job, it often does not pay a living wage. It's clear Congress isn't doing enough to get America back to work.

To shake our leaders into action, a committed public is needed more than ever. That's why I'm hoping you'll join me next Saturday, October 2 in Washington, D.C., at one of biggest progressive rallies in decades.

Hundreds of thousands of people are going to march - some folks are carpooling from as far away as California to be a part of it! Will you come to D.C. and march with us?

Millions of new jobs need to be created. But to create a lasting economic recovery that truly transforms the lives of working people in America, new jobs alone aren't enough: we need good jobs that will help our middle class grow and thrive.

We're marching in Washington, D.C., on October 2, 2010 because everyone deserves a chance to achieve the American Dream. Buses and carpools are being organized from every corner of the country. Will you join us?

I hope you'll join us at the rally in Washington on October 2nd. And if you can't be there, click here to plan an event in your neighborhood.

Thanks for all you do to defend workers' rights. I hope to see you next Saturday!

Sincerely,
