HOW TO JOIN LOCAL67

Your rights as an American are protected

We have the freedom to organize and form Unions without interference from our employers.

Do You And Your Co-Workers Receive A Fair Share Of The Profits ?

Do Your Wages Keep Up With The Cost Of Raising A Family Today ?

Are You Protected From Unfair Discipline Or An Unjust Discharge From Your Job ?

Do You Have A Secure Retirement Program Provided By Your Employer ?

Does Your Employer Pay Health Care For You And Your Co-Workers ?

Are You Provided Reasonable Vacation Time, Sick Days, Personal Days ?

Is Favoritism Never The Rule On How Jobs, Overtime and Layoffs Are Determined ?

Do You Have A Signed Agreement With Your Employer For Conditions and Benefits ?

Are Your Current Wages, Benefits And Job Security Secure ?

If you answered NO to any or most of these questions, a negotiated Teamsters Agreement may be just what you and your co-workers need.  Today it is a fact that the highest wages and benefit packages are paid to the men and women who work in a variety of professions under a negotiated labor agreement.   Teamster negotiated agreements are recognized to be among the best.  Elected officers of local unions who negotiate contracts on behalf of the membership are full time representatives of the affiliated local unions.  Your agreement is negotiated by an individual who does this type of work everyday.   The only protection a worker has today to prevent stagnant wages, benefit reductions or unfair treatment is to belong to a union.  The Teamsters can make the difference.  Provide you with a voice in the workplace.  A voice in your future.

Call or contact Teamsters Local 67 today. Don't delay. We have provided you an e-mail page JOIN THE TEAMSTERS / INFORMATION or call (202) 526-3600.  We will then contact you and you will be on your way to a better future. On your way to working under the benefits and protections only a Teamsters agreement can provide.

American workers have fought for and won rights on the job. Stand up and stand together. You have rights ----- use them.

Build a Better Future for Your Family

If your place of work is not covered by a union contract, you have no guarantee that the employer will comply with all the rights and protections provided you under federal and state laws. What if your overtime pay was calculated improperly? What if you were unfairly discriminated against? In these cases it is up to you to represent yourself.

Workers with a union, on the other hand, have a contract, an on-site representative, and an organization standing beside them. They also have much more than the minimum guarantees of federal and state laws; they have better wages, better pensions, better insurance, and a way of correcting inappropriate management actions. They have guaranteed rights and guaranteed representation. They have a written contract.

Open the Door to a Better Tomorrow

Make Your Voice Heard

Becoming a Union Member is the best way you can improve your life and your family's future. Unions are workers helping workers to:

  • Improve wages, benefits, and working conditions;
  • Have an independent voice at work; and
  • Be treated with dignity and respect.

Union members earn substantially more than comparable nonunion workers. The small amount you pay in dues brings large rewards not just in your paycheck but also in your benefits and working conditions.

A Union Contract Makes Your Life Better

The Teamsters strongly believes that workers should have a voice in their jobs. The only way to have a true voice in your workplace is to have a union contract. Unions negotiate for:

  • Wage increases;
  • Safe conditions on the job;
  • Employer-paid health insurance including vision, dental, and prescription drugs;
  • Reasonable line speeds and workload requirements;
  • Job security and seniority rights;
  • Pensions;
  • Paid holidays and vacations;
  • Opportunities for advancement; and
  • Protection from unfair treatment and favoritism by the boss.
